What is The Local Nose.com?

TheLocalNose.com (TLN) is a Singapore-based wine recommendation website, wine locator, and consumer wine information hub.    TLN features wine buying recommendations from a panel of expert “Local Noses” who taste wines from local merchants, recommend the wines first on quality basis, and second rate the wines on value-for-money basis.

The Local Nose.com ONLY recommends wines that 3 of the expert Noses have selected for recommendation...not one, or two…but three. This gives consumers a reliable wine recommendation that is based on a broad range of palates, opinions, and tasting preferences.

Want to compare your tasting notes and rate wines too?

The best way to learn about wine is to taste it and take notes!  At TLN we want our wine community to use our Noses’ professional tasting notes as a guide to developing their own palates.  We hope that TLN community members will buy and taste the same wine from the same merchant that the Noses tasted, then share their own tasting notes and give a “thumbs up or thumbs down” rating.   It’s a great way to taste and compare wine styles with the pros!  Join now…it’s free!

 

Looking for a specific wine?

The Local Nose.com also has a Wine Search engine so that consumers can locate and price wines that are available locally.  As more and more Singapore wine merchants place their wines in our database consumers will be able to find wines they know, or that they have read about or seen on a restaurant menu.

 

Want to buy wines online?

The Local Nose Wine Mall will make it easy for consumers to order wines directly from Singapore wine merchants, whether from an existing online merchant, direct from an importer, or from one of our retail partners.  We want to make it easy to find and buy wines from all over Singapore.
