Back by popular demand, the winemakers of Domaine Ludovic Belin and Domaine Rapet Père et Fils, together with the hotel sommelier Stephanie Rigourd, will have an intimate wine appreciation over two dinners and a class from 9 to 11 February. Wine enthusiasts will be delighted to learn more about the vineyards as well as the opportunity to savour their prized wines.

 

The Winemaker's Dinner will present attendees with a 4-course dinner designed to highlight the unique characteristics of their premier and grand cru wines.

Fruehschoppen

"Fruehschoppen" (morning pint) is the German version of "Brunch".  It was celebrated since many hundred of years.

Traditionally the people met on Sunday morning (after going to church, where they took the holy communion and were not allowed to eat and drink before) in a pub or restaurant and enjoyed an opulent Breakfast/Lunch (Br-unch).

It consists and that is, what you can enjoy at Magma, of sausages, bread rolls, soup, cold cuts, eggs, cheese, salads, fruits and cakes.

It is accompanied by drinks (mostly wine and beer) in a "Schoppen" (which is traditionally half a pint). Therefore the name "Frueh-Schoppen". Magma offers it regulary, but only once a month the second Sunday!

We offer an opulent Buffet with all these dishes mentioned above for  only S$ 29.00++!  

And beside of choosing wine, beer of other drinks a la carte you have the option to choose the free flow of our excellent house wines by the glass for only additional S$ 30.00++.

Austrian Wine Festival 2012 Opening Event: The Balthazer Night

This convivial wine-food pairing dinner features top Austrian wines served from some magnificent 12-litre Balthazar bottles that are making their appearance for the FIRST time in Singapore to mark the launch of the Austrian Wine Festival. This special event also brings together an ensemble of top Austrian chefs in Singapore (see below) and 1-Michelin star guest chef, Christian Winkler of Restaurant Schindlhaus, Austria, who have designed an exclusive eight-course Austrian menu just for this night.
