Want to improve your understanding of wine? Then join Wine & Co and study for the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Intermediate Course Certification.This course offers students a deeper understanding of wine styles, grapes and wine regions and is useful for consumers and for those working in Food & Beverage industry. This course is perfect for those with a good basic knowledge of wine. It is a natural progression from the WSET Foundation course, though the Foundation certificate is not a prerequisite.
Total cost is $872 including all the wines to be tasted. The exam will be on July 31 from 9am- 12pm.
This course is appropriate for:
• People employed in the F&B, hotel and wine trade industries with some previous knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
• Wine enthusiasts who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of wines and spirits and want to obtain an internationally recognised wine qualification.
Highlights of the course:
• wine-making and factors influencing wine style
• key white and black grape varieties
• label terminology
• food and wine matching
• taste a minimum of 44 fantastic wines
Upon the successful completion of the examination, you will be awarded a Certificate from the WSET from UK.
