17 November 2011 marks the third Thursday of the month and that also indicates the start of a time to party! Celebrate the end year harvest with one, or maybe two bottles of wines fresh from the wineries from Beaujolais, south of Burgundy!

The quick-fermenting wine made from the first pressings of hand-picked Gamey grapes is released once a year for distribution and carries a fruity note resembling flavours of cherries, strawberries, and raspberries. For the unfamiliar, the lightweight red wine best served chilled, to be consumed within the first few months of its production, and gulped down the in a true party fashion!

In conjunction with Beaujolais Nouveau, our team of dedicated sommeliers have put together a list of artisanal 2009 vintage Beaujolais wines for your dining pleasure. Our Beaujolais Nouveau promotion will run from 17 November 2011 to 17 December 2011 at Bistro du Vin.
