The annual black glass tasting is back!
If you think it's easy to tell a white wine from red wine without actually seeing it in a glass, then come take the April Fools Black Glass challenge!
On April Fool's night Picotin and The Local Nose.com invite you to the ulitimate blind tasting event - it's not a contest to name rare wine vintages but instead a simple task to identify whether a wine is white or red. We will taste 8 wines entirely blind in black Schott-Weisel glasses, play a short wine trivia quiz on the wines we're tasting, and then those who identify the wine colours correctly and answer the quiz questions will win great prizes!
We'll keep the food visible though, and promise great Picotin party snacks to pair with everything we taste...red meat with white wine and red's with fish...you won't know what you've paired with what until the end!
Cost will be $40 per person nett.
