In recent years, Weingut Tement is known to be one of the best winery from Southern Styria in Austria. Enthusiastic reviews and high ratings from wine critics have catapulted this winery to enviable prominence in the international wine scene.

A family business that treads the fine line between tradition and modernity, owners Manfred and Heidi Tement, helped along by Granny Edina and the children Stefan and Armin, set forth to produce the finest wines in Southern Styria. Convinced by the unique quality of their vineyards, armed with tenacity and a sense of purpose, the Tement family relentlessly work to extract the best quality out of their grapes.

Southern Styria is a traditional production area which enjoys excellent growing conditions, especially for white grapes. For this reason, 95% of the vineyard area at the Estate is devoted to white varieties and only 5% to red wine grapes.

Tement aims to make two basic styles of white wine at the estate, of which the majority belongs to the category known as "Steirische Klassik" ("Styrian Classics"). These wines are fresh and fruity, with lots of varietal character, are fairly light in alcohol and, for the most part, are therefore matured in stainless steel tanks. These wines are already famous in Austria, and in fact this style is also perfectly compatible with the taste of contemporary wine world.

The other style is represented by the wines from specific sites which have distinctive terroir tastes. These grapes are matured in large wooden casks and some of them are even fermented in small oak barrels to impart complexity and inherit greater longevity.

To mark the launch of Weingut Tement's latest vintage, ARTISAN CELLARS is pleased to present a very special wine dinner at BRASSERIE WOLF with winemaker and proprietor Armin Tement.

Located by the Singapore River at The Pier at Robertson, BRASSERIE WOLF is an authentically Parisian brasserie which combines a casual and relaxed ambience with the culinary standards and service of a fine dining restaurant. This wine  dinner will pair the exquisite wines from WEINGUT TEMENT with a delectable five-course menu.
