To celebrate the bringing in of Smokey’s Promotional wines of February, we are holding a dinner – wine tasting event. Dinner service is as usual...but with a difference. Pay only $10.00 and you are welcome to taste all SIX of the monthly wines. And of course, if you like one in particular, you’re welcome to order a bottle.

Delicacies on the menu include pulled pork in a BBQ marinade, tender smoked brisket, hot Cajun grilled salmon and spiced rib eye steaks to name a few.

Fermented in small batches, aged in French oak barrels, carefully blended and bottled at the peak of quality. This vintage has aromas of ripe blackberry and black cherry with smooth fruit driven flavors of plum, strawberry and warm spices.

303 Dry Creek Valley Merlot 2004, California, USA $58.00 $48.00

Aromas of ripe black cherry and plum, with subtle notes of chocolate and cassis, provide a wonderful preview to the flavors that follow. Well integrated black cherry fruit on the palate mingles with hints of black pepper and cedar, creating a balanced and flavorful wine. The ripe tannins are layered with excellent acidity bringing together the rich fruit flavors with a long, detailed finish.

Opening with a bright red color, this wine takes the black cherry and brambleberry jam aromas of the Zinfandel grape. With a full-bodied mouth feel, integrated oak flavors and a smooth berry jam finish. Commendation – WFA Wine Challenge 2007.

312. Tamás Estates Cabernet Sauvignon 2001, California, USA                    $45.00 $35.00

This 100% California Cabernet was aged in oak for 12 months.  It has a dark, rich color, and bright flavors of plum, cherry and blackberry. The fruit flavors are complemented by a hint of smokiness.  Just the right amount of acidity in the background gives this wine a balanced structure.
