Description
New Zealand Winegrowers will host a wine brunch at Yantra, Singpore's most innovative Indian restaurant, to pair a selected range of New Zealand wines with the flavours of India.
Yantra's very popular Sunday Brunch offers exquisitely marinated Tandoor specialties along with Northern Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian curry dishes. These inventive and artfully spiced dishes will be served with a sampling-flight of 5 New Zealand varietal wines to give guests an unforgettable, cross-cultural taste adventure.
Upon arrival guests can sip on a glass of New Zealand sparkling wine with an Indian "amuse bouche". Soon after two New Zealand Winegrower representatives, Gwyn Thomas of Bascand Wines or Christine Kernohan from Gladstone Vineyards will give brief explanation about the wines to be tasted and the vineyard regions where they are produced. Guests will then be invited to sample the assortment of dishes from the buffet and mix and match the flavours with the still wines poured for tasting.
All of the wines being tasted will be available for purchase either by the glass or bottle so that guests can continue drinking their "favourite" wines!
